as a student collaborator one of the first assignments was to work with stand up kc advocating for fair wages and termination of wage theft. little did i know that all this corruption was occurring in my backyard. after becoming aware of the issues and truly developing my own opinions i became more attuned and ready to start this project. collaborative brainstorming between taylor, tyler and i acted as catalyst for the expeditious yet effective poster series. combinations of direct typography and non-intrusive illustration give clear meaning to the message without being overbearing. designing these posters have been a learning tool in terms of developing production and personal opinions.
